On Sunday, June 20th, we went on a wonderful tour with Haukur as our guide. The destination was the Loser Alm in Altaussee, Austria.
Departure in Weyarn at 10 a.m. with Haukur as tour guide, Günter, Hans, Bruno and Gabi, Marion, Domenico, Max, Jürgen, the new club members Stefan and Monika even from Augsburg. Then came Rainer am Samerberg and Hans in Siegsdorf, from then on the group was complete.
It was a hot summer day at about 27 degrees with an upward trend, but because of the slightly hazy-cloudy sky, it was tolerably pleasant. Unfortunately there was a motorcycle failure from Hallein, Bruno's 800 GS had a total battery failure after refueling at Hallein. No pushing helped and Bruno started the journey home together with Gabi's GS.
We continued on beautiful little streets for lunch together on the Postalm. Strengthened, we continued on the spectacular Loser panorama road to the Loser Alm near Altaussee. The special flair of Altaussee was even worth a game scene in the James Bond film Specter in 2015!
The return trip was in two groups: those who wanted to be back home a little faster and the group that had a little more time. In the evening a little earlier or later, everyone was back home and had a wonderful day. Thanks to the tour guide and everyone who gave us a great day.
