Skill day on July 29th

Despite high summer temperatures, more than 10 participants met for this year's skill day.

Our trainer Kim had come up with a series of useful and instructive exercises that one would like to internalize even as an “old hand”. But these were also valuable tips and exercises for our novice drivers:

Driving exercises
• Slalom course (wild eight)
• Braking exercise
• Braking exercise with avoidance
• Slow-driving exercises
• What is the best way to keep my moto

Interesting facts
• Accident simulation, correct accident management
• Driving groups, rules of conduct
• Patch tires
• Calculation of braking distance
• Comb circle and the effects
• Rescue a motorcycle with a winch
• ABS insert on firm and loose surfaces

Fun
• Starting from the main stand
• slow ahead (who drives the slowest)
• Throw cans
• Football ... Who hits with the ball through the set goal
• who drives the closest circle
• torture pile (rope must be wrapped around a pile with one hand through increasingly narrow circles)
• cycling with obstacles (board, sand, tires)
• Lambada (who drives deepest in a circle under a rope)
• Slalom riding with both legs on one side
• Cowboy style getting on and off

The recovery of an F 800 GS on a slope with a cable winch turned out to be particularly spectacular, as this was done by the driver himself without the help of third parties. Here are a few impressions of that day:

This was a successful and varied day for all participants. And we didn't have to freeze either!
