Giuseppe Visenzi, founder and eponym of GIVI, is a former rider in the motorcycle world championship circus and as such is still enthusiastic about motorsport today. And it is precisely this Signore Visenzi who cannot miss the opportunity to greet us and to be photographed together with us shortly afterwards.
He is still active in the office and proudly shows us photos of himself and GP greats like Giacomo Agostini or the young Lucio Cecchinello. There are also recordings from current MOTOGP times with Cal Crutchlow and Lucio Cecchinello, who has now become the team owner at MOTOGP, because GIVI is also represented as a sponsor in MOTOGP.
We experienced in detail a representative and inviting company headquarters with immaculate, clean and accurate factory buildings. Also modern, spacious and bright offices with friendly and eager employees.
A reserved, humble director - recognizable, for example, from his mid-size Toyota as a company car.
In the evening GIVI invited us to a winery on the outskirts of Brescia. During a guided tour, we were given a valuable insight into the production of the sparkling wine there.
