Altmühltal tour on April 30, 2016

30 participants on 24 GSes did not miss their club's first big spring excursion on Saturday. The tour through Altmühltal, perfectly prepared by Peter, started in a parking lot in the middle of Reichertshausen, which could hardly believe the amount of mopeds and drivers.

Four tour guides led us over beautifully winding and sometimes smallest side streets through the spring landscape of the southern Frankenalb, past the numerous castles and fortresses of the Urdonautal. Peter had summarized the special tourist sights with pictures and short text on two pages and distributed them to everyone. There was also an overview map of the tour, the important meeting points (coffee! Beer! Food!) And the phone numbers of the guides. So no one could get lost and the curiosity of those who were not so busy with the street was also satisfied. A really excellent idea!

After lunch at Arnsberg Castle we took the ferry across Weltenburg across the Danube. The ferryman took it easy, but the day trippers had something to watch.
