MyRouteApp Workshop - mmore than just navigation

Anyone can navigate – or can they? Anyone who attended the GS Club “Fahrerlager” workshop at the Sauerlach Post on Saturday, February 7, 2026, knows: There is a world of difference between “driving from A to B” and real, well-thought-out tour planning.

More than just an app

Under the guidance of Jörgen Klein, a certified MyRouteApp trainer (MRA), the participants delved deeply into the possibilities of modern tour planning. It quickly became clear: MyRouteApp is far more than a simple navigation tool – when used correctly, it becomes the key to perfectly planned motorcycle tours.

Jörgen expertly guided the group through the basics, explaining the setup and operation, and demonstrating how to efficiently prepare tours on the computer and then seamlessly transfer them to a smartphone or tablet. Exactly what you need to reach your destination relaxed and safely while on the go.

Learning by trying things out

Instead of dry theory, the focus was primarily on one thing: doing it yourself. The participants planned their own routes, set waypoints, tested different options, and discovered functions that many hadn't even known existed.

The discussions surrounding different navigation devices and their influence on route guidance were particularly interesting. It quickly became clear that small settings can make a big difference – a real eye-opener for many.

Exchange among like-minded people

In addition to the technical input, the sense of community was also important. Between exercises, participants shared many experiences and new tour ideas emerged naturally. It was precisely this combination of learning and camaraderie that made the workshop so valuable.

A successful conclusion

The course concluded with good food and relaxed conversation. Discussions continued, laughter filled the air, and of course, some future tours were already being planned.

With this newly acquired knowledge, future tours can not only be planned more precisely, but also ridden much more relaxed. MyRouteApp will play an even greater role for many in the future.

A heartfelt thank you to Jörgen Klein for his dedicated, practical and always understandable presentation.
